The Problem
RŌHKI challenged our team to create a stunning cinematic showcase for their series of music video NFT releases. We needed to create an immersive experience with dynamic 3D landscapes and dramatic visual effects. The greatest challenge was to balance performance with the the artwork's stunning detail. The second challenge lay in preventing the swaths of bots from sniping our prized mints with secure digital signatures. Fortunately, none of these challenges proved to be too much as our team was poised for success with members well versed in delivering stream video content at scale, delivering beautifully crafted visual experiences and orchestrating secure NFT launches.
The Solution
To weave together an engaging experience, we used the Three.js 3D engine for the immersive 3d scenes and Video.js for cinematic video playback. We squashed the efforts of pesky bots with secure digital signatures based on Google's reCAPTCHA. Even the navigation and layout of the site was designed to be a cinematic 3D experience. Our designers crafted stunning visuals and interactions, allowing us to develop a unique minting experience with an exciting reveal on a beautiful custom video platform streamed from IPFS/Arweave. Community was exceptionally important to our client so we made sure to build in real time community feedback and analytics so they and minters could stay engaged.
